If you're driving in:
Take exit 256 from the 95 South
Turn right, drive about 2.5 miles, and look for a sign on the left that says Spruce Creek Fly-In. Turn in there. (There is also a South Gate, but you will need to get your pass at the North Gate.)
At the gate, tell the guard you're guests of Ryan Smith and give him the house address. Ask him for a pass you can use to get in the gate for the length of time you're staying.
There is a garage door opener in the top drawer to the left of the kitchen sink.
The golf cart, pool, and outside storage (which contains pool and beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas) keys are in the same drawer as the garage door opener or hanging on the key hook in the laundry room.
The WiFi network is called WiFly and WiFly 5G, and the password is sprucecreekcondo.
If you'd like to use the alarm, the keypad is in the laundry room. Just let me know and I'll get you the passcode.
The entry/upstairs steps are a bit difficult to see at night, so there are small lights on the tile steps to make them easier to see. They are motion activated. There are extra batteries for the night lights in the kitchen drawer to the left of the sink, as well as extra batteries for the garage door opener and the ceiling fan remotes.
Daytona Beach has started charging for parking on and beside the beach (there are signs to help them collect your money). The Volvo in the garage has a beach sticker on it to avoid those charges if you want to use it. It also has a gate rfid, so you can use the right lane coming into Spruce Creek and the gate automatically lifts (for one car at a time).
There are games in the trunk in front of the fireplace and a star chart and other fun things in the end cabinet beside that same sofa.
Extra linens and towels are in the closets. Beach towels are in the upstairs linen closet. Please open everything and look around for anything you need.
Sandy Rudder is still being renovated, so you may notice some things aren't quite complete yet (such as the laundry room).
Don't forget to charge the golf cart fully each time you use it so it's ready for a drive!
The blinds over the front door and in the stairwell can be opened using the extendable rod on the staircase landing. Simply catch the loops in the blind cords with the hook.
Please be sure to put all trash into bags before you put in the large blue outdoor trash can which is located in the garage. (Thank you so much!)
Feel free to use the metal detector (in the garage)! And let us know if you find any treasure!
